Dina Titus, U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, posted a series of messages on April 13, 2026, addressing issues ranging from maternal health to Holocaust remembrance and air traffic control recruitment.
In a post published at 16:51 UTC, Titus highlighted the significance of Black Maternal Health Week, stating, “Black Maternal Health Week calls on us to confront inequities in maternal care. I am working to pass the #Momnibus, end this crisis, and improve outcomes for Black moms and babies across the nation.”
Later that day at 17:50 UTC, she marked Yom HaShoah with a message honoring Holocaust victims: “On Yom HaShoah, we honor the memories of the six million innocent Jewish people murdered during the Holocaust. May their memories always be a blessing.”
At 18:30 UTC, Titus addressed aspiring air traffic controllers by noting upcoming application opportunities and legislative action she supported: “On April 17 at midnight ET, @FAANews will open their application for aspiring air traffic controllers! I helped increase ATC capacity by passing my provision that directs the FAA to hire the maximum number of air traffic controllers possible.”
Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st District in Congress since succeeding Shelley Berkley in 2013. She previously served in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. Born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950 and currently residing in Las Vegas, Titus earned her BA from the College of William & Mary in 1970.
