Dina Titus, U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, recently addressed a range of foreign and domestic issues in a series of posts on her official Twitter account.
On December 4, 2025, Titus criticized current U.S. foreign policy directions, stating: “The so-called “Peace” President is pushing us into a nuclear arms race with Russia and China, threatening war with Venezuela, and hurting our relationships with our closest allies.”
Later that day, she highlighted diplomatic engagement in the Eastern Mediterranean by sharing: “It was a pleasure to join @GreeceInUSA for lunch with Ambassador Nassika and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou to discuss mutual energy security priorities in the Eastern Mediterranean. With energy security emerging as a key pillar of foreign policy, we must work together to” (December 4, 2025).
Titus also marked an important anniversary in civil rights history on December 5, 2025: “70 years ago in Alabama, the Montgomery Bus Boycott began — a key moment in the modern Civil Rights Movement. We salute the courage of these activists and commit to furthering their work for equality and justice.”
Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st District since replacing Shelley Berkley in 2013. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. Born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950 and currently residing in Las Vegas at age 72, Titus holds a BA from the College of William & Mary.
