Dina Titus, U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, recently posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account covering diplomatic concerns, congressional activities, and local community engagement.
On December 19, 2025, Titus expressed criticism regarding the recall of career Foreign Service Officers serving as Ambassadors. She stated: “By recalling career Foreign Service Officers who are dutifully representing the U.S. as Ambassadors, @POTUS undermines confidence in our diplomatic corps, further politicizes @StateDept, and makes the country less safe. @HouseForeignGOP must conduct proper congressional oversight https://t.co/IMH3jqrtjo”.
Later that same day, she shared a summary of her recent work in Washington: “This week I wrapped up the first half of the 119th Congress in Washington. It was a pleasure meeting with @Delta @AmbVMKwatra @StefanishynaO @franceintheus @KenBurns. https://t.co/fXzjgL3n57” (December 19, 2025).
On December 21, 2025, Titus highlighted her participation in a local event celebrating Las Vegas Integrative Medicine’s contributions to veterans and the broader community: “Yesterday I celebrated 12 years of Las Vegas Integrative Medicine’s service to our veterans and community. They also launched a nonprofit and were named @TheBestOfLV for acupuncture treatments. @Sanje2010 https://t.co/RBlzvjeb4V”.
Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Shelley Berkley in 2013 and previously served in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. Born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950 and currently residing in Las Vegas, Titus is an alumna of the College of William & Mary.
