Dina Titus, U.S. Congresswoman representing Nevada’s 1st district since 2013, posted a series of statements on her official social media account addressing issues ranging from workplace safety investigations to legislative initiatives on artificial intelligence and tribal land rights.

On December 18, 2025, Titus raised concerns about the Boring Company’s impact on public health in her district. She stated, “My constituents deserve answers on why @BoringCompany has not been held accountable for putting their health at risk. I am glad federal OSHA is following my lead and investigating the matter.”

The following day, December 19, 2025, Titus highlighted her legislative efforts as a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. She wrote, “As a senior member of @HouseForeign, I introduced legislation to protect the United States’s dominance in the AI race. The RESTRICT Act would prevent the sale of advanced AI chips to China and codify restrictions on the export of advanced circuits to China.”

Later that same day, she announced new legislation concerning tribal land restoration: “I just introduced legislation to reinstate 3,150 acres of @BLMNational land to the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe to preserve their ancient treasures and help the tribe expand economic development on its Snow Mountain Reservation.”

Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Shelley Berkley in 2013 and previously served in the Nevada Senate from 1988 to 2008. Born in Thomasville, Georgia in 1950 and currently residing in Las Vegas, she holds a BA from College of William & Mary.
