On Saturday, March 15, former Shadow Ridge High School standout Abby Covington’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls.

The game took place at Brandt Field. This was their second matchup against the Cowgirls this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 11 a.m. at Brandt Field against New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls.
